speechless!
Posted by: wowzers at April 3, 2006 06:32 PMNice, reminds me of when we did that same thing in our kitchen, except the ceiling unexpectedly came down with it. Demolition is always the fun part, it's the rebuilding that's a pain.
Here was my latest project from January. Retiling the bathroom and putting in a glass block window http://andyp.atlblogs.com/archives/009960.html

Posted by: katiek at April 6, 2006 11:08 PMhey andy,
just caught up on some reading on ur website. sounds like uve been thru quite an interesting (and construction related) past few months. i'm in costa rica ,... last night here and i'm in the airport hotel about to go to bed to be at the airport at 5 am for our 7 am international flight. ive been here for 9 days. it was crazy. so beautiful, so natural. the "ticos" as the costa ricans call themselves seem to see us americans more as what we are than who we are (i.e. cash registers clinging) but luckily for them their country's beauty makes up for it. i'll try and call over the next day or two and fill u in more. (i do have to drive from boston to gainesville by myself, i can almost guarantee a call... lol) glad ur doing well. i'm proud of you and what ur doing, keep up the good work. hasta
