Okay, you know how I said I was just starting to watch LOST and that I felt like I was getting hooked? Well, I didn't mention that Brent and Morris watched the first episode with me. And then they watched the second episode -- without me. And then they watched the next 14 episodes -- without me. And I thought I was hooked... I think they spent a total of about 12 hours in front of the TV this afternoon. I kept leaving the house and coming back and hearing the LOST theme music every time. Grr... now I'm gonna have to get all caught up by myself!
Posted by andy at January 23, 2006 01:07 AMim a huge fan as well. leah and i got josh and jen hooked while they were in lakeland. "polk county represent!!!"
Posted by: cannon at January 25, 2006 05:14 PMWe try. Although I didn't get invited either. Morris doesn't love me anymore.
By the way, Andy (you Wilco hata, you), good to see you back up. Damn good.
Posted by: mesh at January 28, 2006 01:41 AMthe north country kirbys watch it too, sadly enough. it's a fun wednesday night activity: come home from work, make some mac and cheese, fight with matt about whether we're going to watch Lost again, watch Lost again, trying the whole time to get him to shut up about how lame TV in general is and how PBS is the only channel worth watching... :)
my sister is hooked too, but since she recently moved with her husband to nairobi, they have to download each new episode over some crappy african internet connection. it only takes them about a week to get each episode downloaded, so they're keeping up, but just barely. that's dedication for you...
Posted by: jerah at February 1, 2006 09:53 AMjerah, how r things going with the babe?
not bad. well, i mean, he's not here yet. we're still waiting. he makes regular attempts at what seem to be escape efforts, kicking and squirming and generally doing jujitsu on my innards, but nothing successful in the way of getting out of there quite yet... we'll keep y'all posted...
Posted by: jerah at February 1, 2006 01:36 PMYeah, I understand. I bought the first season of Lost for my dad at Christmas. My brother and I intended just to watch the first episode and found ourselves doing nothing but watch lost for 2 days straight starting Christmas night. We are hooked.
