another sunrise

another early morning drive down the mountain and another beautiful sunrise. this time i actually got out of the car to shoot photos but unfortunately still didn't quite get what i wanted. the photo that i want to capture at some point is the occasional clouds resting in the valley. sometimes it blankets the whole city and other times its just here and there. the hard part is the only spot you can see it from doesn't really have a place to stop the car without risking being rear-ended. well, at least here you can see the rock city christmas star over on the right...

...

the last couple days have been quite busy. my new "boss" has just arrived from the UK and i expect we'll be ramping things up a bit here. its nice to finally have another "techie" around the office.

baby, you need to check out the Death Cab Christmas song, "Baby Please Come Home"

it is, of course, ridiculously sad

I think it's funny how you put "boss" in quotes...does that mean he's a superior in title only? Does it mean that he thinks he's the boss, but he really isn't?

we all know andys the real boss where ever he goes.

Maybe andy has started calling all authority figures "boss" like Cool Hand Luke era chain gangs. "Takin' a picture there boss."

i never thought i would actually miss the stupid rock shitty star. but, yeah, i kinda do.
andy, when you move to nyc could you be one of those mac genius guys? imagine working all day at the genius bar...

ha ha... i didn't even think about it when i put quotes around "boss." my only intention was that since there's only two of us here doing software, i suspect we're going to be more like partners than anything, except that he'll be letting me know which projects i'm working on, etc. maybe i should start calling him, and all my others superiors here "boss"... or maybe "guv'na" would be more fitting, seeing as he's a brit and all.

Another great picture. Next time you come down we need to talk about pictures and not crap. We'll still go to stubbies

funny, i thought we were talking about the church and friendships and all kinds of other important stuff... all that belgian beer must have gone straight to my head.

The Church stuff is depressing. I have been wanting to pick your brain about the pictures you take for a long time.
